About the website
I made this site mostly because I wanted to have a place where I could ignore the passage of time. Having somewhere isolated to put my thoughts helps me deal with the hectic pace of the real world, and lets me collect ideas that would have been left behind otherwise. The name DREAMLOCK is just a fancier way of stating the website's purpose - it's where I can lock down my dreams so that I don't forget about them.
The design of this site is mostly based on early-internet webpages, although the visuals are also inspired by surrealism and some genres of horror. It's currently hosted on neocities.org, and is built from plain old HTML and CSS (with added bits of Javascript in some places). I'm not an expert graphic designer, or writer, or anything like that, but if you've stumbled across this website I hope you find something that interests you!

About the webmaster
I usually go by Whee23 online - it was my first username ever and I've never really felt the need to change it. I technically live in Canada, but I spend most of my time living in my own head. I have a bunch of different, unrelated interests - including technology, mythology, etymology, and various other -ologies. I like doing research deep-dives on random subjects just for fun.
I'm also an amateur artist. I especially like drawing my own characters and making lore for the setting I've been developing around them.
